Fabric guide

Modal
Soft, fluid drape with good breathability. Best for humid climates and prayerwear.
Nidha
Matte microfibre with body. Holds a clean silhouette and resists creasing.
Crepe
Textured surface that hides light. Mid-weight and forgiving in wear.
Jersey
Stretch knit for pull-on styles. Comfortable but shows shape more readily.
Cotton
Cool and washable. Creases more; ideal for kids and everyday robes.
Cotton-linen
Dry handle with texture. Excellent in dry heat, softens with washing.
Bamboo blend
Brushed, temperature-regulating and quiet against the skin.
Chiffon overlay
Sheer layer used over an opaque base for volume, never alone.
Wool blend
Winter over-robes. Warm without bulk; dry clean recommended.

Seasonal and regional guidance

How to measure yourself

  1. Stand straight in the shoes you usually wear.
  2. Measure from the top of the shoulder to the floor; that is your garment length.
  3. Measure your chest at the fullest point, keeping the tape level.
  4. For men's robes, measure sleeve from the shoulder point to the wrist bone.
  5. Add roughly two inches of clearance to the length, then choose the nearest size up.

Common questions

One-piece is quicker to wear and better for prayer; two-piece is more flexible for daily styling and easier to launder in parts.
